Insert Positive Message Here

I apologize dear readers for not posting for a while, I have some blog posts written and pictures and music to share but my heart has not been in it.

So instead let me leave you with some words of wisdom from Don Draper while I work on giving another under paid freelance blow job to an undeserving car company.

The universe is indifferent,

April

PS. Hope you all are watching the Walking Dead this evening, it’s a documentary right?

PSS. Sometimes despair gets the better of me (as some of my posts attest) and I want to surrender but I guess I am just a stubborn bitch who would rather die fighting.

  1. You would have been cheered up if you had been watching British television last week. The Avengers is currently being re-run for the nth' time but they have got to the point when they were making the programmes in Canada. Anyway, last week I am sure they were in Toronto judging by the tower in the background and Steed was chasing the bad guys in a bright yellow XJS - those were the days!

  2. Have never watched an episode of Walking Dead but my sister was watching it on Sunday afternoon having rid herself of Zombie Char and Zombie Jess, her daughters, by sending them off to watch Scooby Doo and Button Moon.
Zombie Char was making growling noises in the background while I was talking to my sister.
My nieces are strange girls sometimes :-)

Hope you feel like posting again soon.

  3. Louise, well spotted, the Canadian episodes are rather poorer quality but it is fun to watch and say I have been there. Would like to take my XJS to some of the same spots and take a series of photos.

Jenna, it you decide to watch (marathon of all three seasons coming up next week on AMC) don't watch alone!

Joey, I agree about the seventies as you commented in my prior post. I love everything fifties but it is all soooo expensive now. Seventies stuff, cars, furniture etc is affordable and has a weird charm that anything from eighties and nineties lack.

    1. I don't think we can get AMC in the UK. Will have to keep an eye out for when they repeat Season 1 over here again and catch it then.
Assuming that I've managed to catch up with Grimm, Person of Interest, Elementary, Revolution and Primeval: New World which we're recording at the moment :-)

  4. April,
Hope this may cheer you up. At least when I'm feeling a bit low and unappreciated, I think of something I head awhile ago and it puts things in perspective. I tell myself that most likely I might be less than what some people would prefer me to be. But on the other hand, most people are also unaware that I am so much more than what they see. And to please them, I have to first please myself. So be happy.
And if you want something deeper than that, when all else fails, as per the great philosopher Harry Potter, "Don't let the muggles get you down.
