Top 10 Cars to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse

I have been working on a longer post and film review but I just found out my zombie article was finally available on the digital edition of World Of Wheels magazine, the print copy has been on newsstands since February.

Skip to page 34 for the zombie article and page 14 for Rust Never Sleeps

There is also an another article by me and under my new/real name of April and first! The second article is no a slightly less timely topic Rust proofing, yeah I know not quite as gripping just still of interest to any of you who live in the rust belt. or above the snow line.  Still lots of cool pictures and the art department at the magazine did an excellent job putting it all together. Look closer and you might even spot me in the article..no not as a zombie, though I do resemble one on waking up more often than not.

Above photo comes from yesterdays grocery shopping safari, sudden rain shower, meant localized wet t shirt contest, my hair and I were unimpressed.

As to the best cars to survive the inevitable zombie apocalypse, I thought it would be boring to just list my choices, Cadillac, Lincoln etc but get the opinions of some automotive "celebrities"  who will still take my calls.  Feel free to add your own choices and why, perhaps we can interest them in a sequel.

  2. Hi Jenny,

Did you know that J C Bamford was a big Cadillac fan, his cars were often to used by British buff magazines went they wanted to do a road test on a new Cadillac.

    But good choice!

    1. No, I didn't know that. I guess it makes sense, he'd have hardly been an Aston Martin fan at the time.

  3. As a Northeast resident again (for a while, anyway), your rust article piqued my curiosity. You certainly know your subject inside and out, April!

Haven't had a chance to read about what to shop for before the forthcoming zombie attack, but I will. I'm sure it's as entertaining as your other articles are. :c)

  4. Dear Cass, I swear by Krown or Rust Check up here in Great White North.

The zombie article is much more fun, look forward to hearing your choice to survive in "zombieland".

    1. Thanks for the tip, April. I should ask my brother; he swears by whatever product he uses. (I believe it's a local company, but I could be mistaken.)

I hope to read the zombie article tonight, but I would put my first car (a '72 Chevy Chevelle) up against most anything, zombies included. They built 'em to last back then! :c)

BTW, you got a shout-out in my most recent post. That's all I'll say though, as you'll likely be quite disappointed by my confession therein. lol

    2. OK, finally had a chance to read the zombie article. You were right; that was a lot of fun!

I would have to go with the '59 Chevy, simply because tail fins are just too cool! And as you point out, they do double duty. Sporty... yet practical! How could a girl resist?

  6. I totally agree with your list! I think the Cadillac will survive not only the zombie apocalypse, but it will also emerge as the winner! The Caddy was also my first car. My parents bought my second hand Caddy as a graduation gift. I revamped the car over the years, and added a few modifications on it. The car did survive for many years, despite the repairs.
